Damn it Janet!

On Wednesday Nathan and I went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show, It was playing at Star City Casino in the city. Nathan picked me up from school and we caught a train into the city. When we got to Star City we were ate dinner at the buffet (30 dollars per person I can't believe we spent that much money on a buffet).

After dinner we went to our seats and got ready for the show. I had my camera with me and was taking some pictures of the actors that were walking around. Well one of the actors came and tapped me on my shoulder and pointed to the camera and waved her finger no no at me. So I wasn't able to get pictures of the show, Which was probably for the best otherwise I would have seen the show through my camera lens and not enjoyed it as much.

The show began and I'll tell you I was enjoying it from the moment it began until the moment it ended. I wanted more more more and i honestly if i had the money i would have paid to see it 4-5 more times this week.

The actors were fantastic! Rocky was so sexy, Brad and Janet so believable. The whole show just blew me away. The Dancing was amazing the singing was terrific. I can't think of enough adjectives to describe how much I enjoyed this performance.

Nathan on the other hand hated it and I could tell he was hating it the whole time. I guess I never warned him about what to expect with Rocky Horror. He I guess didn't appreciate the dancing half naked transvestites on the stage.

At the end Dr. Frank-N-Furter and the rest of the cast came out on a large penis. I would have loved to have got a picture of that for everyone.

I wish I could afford to go back and see it again.

If you don't know anything about it, the title is pretty deceptive. I know I'd heard such great things about the movie but didn't actually KNOW anything about it before I saw it and was sorely disappointed. NOT what I expected. Can't blame Nathan, it's one of those things you have to go in knowing what to expect to appreciate it.

Glad you enjoyed it though, I know Melyssa is REALLY jealous.

I am SO angry at Nathan! :)

Dude, I totally would have gone with you for your anniversary! :)

Jealous.

JEALOUS!

Seriously, I'd probably give Emily's left ovary to go and see it.

Mindy it sound fantastic- wish I could go with you- will pay for us both if you are willing. Bloody conservative nathan, men are a bit funny when it comes to confronting performances...haha love the huge penis thing-cousin Justin would be in his element(you should see the artwork in their house)and mark would be irritated too I am sure. So glad you got to see it. Hope you liked the little pressies we gave you, great to finally see the house too. I will have to have you over for a boring nathan style dinner soonxxxJowen

You know, this bugs me.

I never said anything about hating the transvestites, I actually have no idea where mindy got that from.

I really just didn't enjoy the story, music or dancing.

It is just not my thing.

I'm with Emily, disappointment, Mindy hyped it up massively, "if you go in with an open mind, you will love it".

I went in with an open mind, I tried my hardest to enjoy it, but I couldn't help my mind wondering from pure boredom ("Oh, this chair is uncomfortable", "the music is so loud, I wish i had ear plugs", "damn that singing is shrill & hard to understand").

Nathan, we love you. Hahaha it was just a musical so don't start marital spats over it(but then you are so cute when you are fired up. You should hear Mark's comments on musicals in general...and don't get me started on his opinion about ballet-too much homophobia there and best not for public comment lest he gets hate mail.kiss kiss- your musical loving sister
